The 2023 Honda Odyssey isn’t a typical minivan. Rather, it drives more like a luxury vehicle and has excellent power to get you where you need to go. With three rows of seats, it accommodates up to eight people. Even when full, everyone has plenty of leg and headroom.
What’s New and Old
The lineup of the 2023 Honda Odyssey no longer includes the LX trim. Even so, you still have several great options. That includes a new sport trim, which is perfect for people who prefer a sportier look and feel when driving.
Odyssey EX
Although the EX is the Odyssey’s base trim, it still comes with a lot of standard features. For instance, it has heated and powered front seats. It also boasts Magic Slide second-row seats. This innovative design makes moving them easier. You’ll find multiple safety features as well. A few examples include the forward collision warning, the lane-departure warning, and traffic-sign recognition.
The 2023 Honda Odyssey EX comes loaded with technology too. This minivan features both Android Auto and Apply CarPlay. In addition, it comes with an eight-inch touch screen, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and for outstanding sound, a seven-speaker system. Regardless of the destination, you and your passengers will remain comfortable thanks to tri-zone automatic climate control.
Odyssey EX-L
This trim of the 2023 Honda Odyssey has all the same standards as the EX plus more. In place of cloth seats, it features leather upholstery. Even the steering wheel is beautifully wrapped with leather. Along with that, it has an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power liftgate, and moonroof. Honda added HomeLink and two additional USB ports, as well.
Odyssey Sport
As the newest addition to the Odyssey lineup, the Sport trim takes on a slightly different look. In addition to 19-inch alloy wheels instead of 18 inches, it features side sills the same color as the body. As a nice bonus, the Sport trim comes with red interior LED lighting, also standard.
Odyssey Touring
As one of the higher trims, you’ll find a lot more on the Odyssey Touring trim. Again, all of the standard features of the EX carry over. This trim even has front and rear parking sensors to make it easier when navigating tight spaces.
However, the 2023 Odyssey Touring trim has both CabinTalk and CabinWatch too. This rear-seat entertainment system is a great addition, especially when traveling with children. Included are a 10.2-inch touch screen, 115-volt power outlet, Wi-Fi hotspot, and a USB port.

Considered the crème de la crème of the 2023 lineup, the Elite offers the most advanced features for optimal comfort and safety. Along with all the other standard features, it comes with heated and ventilated seats for both the driver and the front passenger. There’s an 11-speaker audio system, interior ambient color in a beautiful blue, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
