The trolley departs from Paddy O’Beers. You can park there for the trolley ride, and you’re even encouraged to go inside and grab a drink to take with you. That’ll make the trip even more festive.
Once you get on the trolley, it’ll take off and let you see the best holiday displays in the city. You won’t just ride around and look either. People are encouraged to sing their favorite Christmas carols as they ride around the city. It truly is a spectacular holiday experience.

The Trolley Holiday Lights Tour is the perfect tour for family fun. Do you prefer an adults-only crowd though? Then you need to sign up for the Downtown Holiday Lights Tour. This tour is also hosted by the Great Raleigh Trolley, but it’s only available to people who are 21 and over. You’ll get to drink a seasonal shooter at Isaac Hunter’s Tavern, and you can bring your own beverages on the ride as well. You’ll get to see all the best Christmas sights in Raleigh, and everyone is sure to have a lot of fun.
