Visit your local Greenville Honda dealership to check out the latest version of the Honda Accord, including the redesigned Sport trim. For the 2017 model year, Honda is offering an Accord Sport Special Edition that sits right above the Sport for those who want even more than this well-packed trim offers. The Accord Sport is the second of five trim levels and is only available as a sedan.
Special Engine
Although the 2017 Accord Sport trim runs on the same basic engine as the base LX trim level, it has a less restrictive exhaust system that enhances performance. This allows the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder in the Sport to produce 189 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. You can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT.
Exterior Styling
The exterior of the Accord Sport is very similar to the other trim levels, but it gives you dual exhaust tips and a rear trunk lid spoiler to enhance the sporty feel. You also get 19-inch wheels, LED fog lights and daytime running lights, LED taillights, and automatic headlights.
Interior Amenities
When inside the Accord Sport, you will be relaxing in cloth seating featuring leatherette bolsters and get versatility from the 60/40 split and folding rear seat. The driver enjoys 8-way power adjustment plus 2-way power lumbar, and the steering wheel is wrapped in leather. Opting for the automatic transmission also adds paddle shifters to the steering wheel. To ensure your comfort, you also get dual-zone automatic climate control.
Technology
Entertainment and connectivity are a given in the 2017 Honda Accord Sport thanks to the 7.7-inch infotainment display that works with the rearview camera and more. You also get a CD player, a USB port, an auxiliary audio jack, Pandora compatibility, and Bluetooth.
