After 33 years, it’s a can’t-miss event in Winterville, NC, drawing crowds from near and far for three fun-filled days of celebration, music, carnival games and rides, and plenty of summer’s juiciest fruit. This year’s festival is scheduled for August 23 through August 25, and it may be the best fest yet!
Watermelon Takes Center Stage in Winterville
The highlight of the festivities is Saturday night’s Watermelon Jam, a high-energy, no-holds-barred concert that this year is featuring award-winning country artist Scotty McCreery and Chase Bryant. Special guests Smithfield and the Justin West Band will also perform. Tickets for the Watermelon Jam are available online for $10 (general admission) or $20 (including a pit pass). The concert is expected to be a huge hit, so get your tickets while they last!

Food vendors will be on hand throughout the event selling watermelon-inspired treats as well as classic fair concessions like funnel cakes, turkey legs, and corn dogs.
