Calling all animal lovers! If you love animals, you’ll love the Pet Palooza Festival and Walk on April 21 at Independence Park in Charlotte. This event is sponsored by the Humane Society of Charlotte and is a great place to go to show off your current pet, find a new one, and meet other animal lovers. Plus, you can raise money for the Humane Society. Mark your calendar so you can attend, and take a minute to find out what to expect.
Walk for the Animals
Take part in the 2k Walk for the Animals to help raise money for the Humane Society. Bring your dog along for the walk. It costs $35 to register for the walk, and you’ll get a bandana for your furry friend. Put it on Fido and hit the streets with other animal lovers. Get there by 10 a.m. to check in for the walk. Then, go around and meet the other participants before you take off. Don’t worry about busting it during the walk. This is leisurely fun, so you and Fido can stroll along next to other pets and their parents.
The Vendor Fair
Walking is fun, but you want to get your shop on. That’s no problem here, thanks to the Vendor Fair. The Vendor Fair opens at 9:30 a.m., and it includes everything you could possibly need for your pet. Talk to vets, buy products, and even get an invisible fence for your yard. This place will have everything. You can even buy food and drinks at the event.

Jam Out to Live Music
This is a party, and what’s a party without music? The Olde #7 Band will be there, playing some tunes starting at 12:15 p.m. This band is a local favorite and will certainly ramp up the party atmosphere. You’ll be jamming in the streets with your pup when the band takes the stage. Well, at least you will if you can tear yourself away from the vendor market. With so much to do, you’ll be bouncing around for sure.
Pet Palooza will wrap up at 3 p.m. When it ends, how do you want the rest of your day to go? Do you want to get into your old vehicle and make the sad drive home, or do you want to get into a brand-new Honda? The latter definitely sounds like more fun, so stop by Barbour Hendrick Honda in Greenville, North Carolina, and pick up some new wheels. Fido will love your new ride, and he’ll be happy to accompany you to the festival. It’s his special day, and he deserves some special wheels.
