African American Music Series

Experience the rich heritage of African American music and musicians at the African American Music Series. This new series is a great way to celebrate and learn more about African American culture, right here in our city! At this event, a different special guest will join Carroll V. Dashiell, Jr. and House Band each month to create amazing tunes. Stop by and enjoy this exciting, free entertainment at 7 PM on the Second Friday of each month.

St. Paul’s Sinfonia

Is classical music more your style? There’s something for you to enjoy at the Pitt County Arts Council, too! The St. Paul’s Sinfonia is an amazing string and flute ensemble, coordinated by John Shaw. Participation in the ensemble is open to the community. Therefore, players of all ages and levels can join in! So, grab your instrument, or sit in the audience and relax as you listen to the beautiful musical sounds. This performance is definitely something that you don’t want to miss. You can attend the show now through September 30th! Visit on various days, as the performers and the show will likely change often throughout this time.

Rock the Bus Exhibition

The Rock the Bus Exhibition honors creative departments in schools throughout Pitt County. From music and dance to art and theater, the artwork of teachers is available for viewing. You can stop by from 10 AM until 11:59 PM and have a look at what’s featured. The exhibition lasts until May 26th.
