With summer just around the corner, it is time to get out your outdoor gear! Come to the Great American Backyard Camp Out to enjoy tons of family fun events and activities. Checking In/Checking out
Check in for the Great American Backyard Camp Out is between 5-7 pm on Friday, June 9th, and you must be checked out no later than 10 am on Saturday, June 10th. Activities began promptly at 7:30 pm on June 9th – so do not be late!
Camping

Activities
You will defiantly stay busy at the Great American Backyard Cook Out. Enjoy a moonlight hike, evening pedal boat ride, family campfire, and smores! Explore the Nature Center and all it has to offer including a 10,000-gallon freshwater aquarium.
River North Park
Looking for a great place to take the family on a hot summer day? Look no further than River North Park. The park features over ten different amenities, including; fishing ponds, pedal boating, hiking trails, a sand volleyball court and much more! Many of these amenities are also free or have a small fee associated with them. Bring your group there for outdoor events, or just take a day trip. Church, school, and scouting groups are always welcome! Beginning on May 1st the park is open from 6 am to 8 pm daily, but those are hours are subject to change based on sunrise/sunset.
