River North Park is a 324-acre public park located right down the road in Greenville. The park also includes 250 acres of forest and endless open grassland areas. With summer just around the corner, River North Park is a great place to take the family or bring your pets for a hike. With over 10 different amenities and flexible hours, there is something for everyone!
Amenities
River North Park offers tons of different amenities ranging from fishing to a sand volleyball fit. Rent a fishing boat, pedal boat, or take a hike through untouched woods. There are wildlife observation platforms, as well as a fossil pit. With so many activities, you will never be bored. Come spend a day in River North Park, and you will never want to leave! Science and Nature Center
Visit River North Park to see the 70-seat theater, live turtles and snakes, wildlife dioramas and the “Shells Are Everywhere” exhibit. Plus, there’s even a 10,000-gallon freshwater aquarium! The center also features multiple hands-on and interactive exhibits for everyone to enjoy. You may be wondering, can I bring a group here? The answer is yes! Church groups, schools, scouts and any organized group can call in advance to schedule a visit!
