Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain are once again hosting the Ultimate Pre-Game Party. This year’s event will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, NC.
The party serves as the primary fundraiser for the organization and promises a great time for all attendees.

Be sure to come dressed in your favorite team apparel and enjoy live music, tons of vendors, a silent auction, games, and so much more. Last year’s anticipated crowd for the event was over 800 people and organizers are hoping for even more this year.
A Party With A Cause
As noted earlier, this is the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plains primary fundraiser and helps support over 3,500 children while also contributing to academic programming, healthy lifestyle choices, and character/citizenship training.
About The Boys & Girls Club of The Coastal Plain
The Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Plain actually got its start back in 1969 at the Pitt County Fairgrounds. Since that time, the organization has experienced tremendous growth which has allowed it to serve more and more youth all across the area. In 1992, the Jack Minges Unit was built to accommodate the growing need for youth services and other units were built over the next years in various Coastal Plain areas. In 2015, the name of the organization was officially changed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain to represent its presence in all its respective counties.
The official mission of the organization is to “enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” according to the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Plain’s website. Programs offered by the organization include those focusing on Academic Success, Character & Leadership, Health & Life Skills, Art & Culture, and Sports & Fitness.
